Underground Cinema Van Rental - Terms & Conditions

Drivers License Requirements
All drivers must be in possession of a full-unendorsed driver's license at the time of rental. All drivers must have held a full driver's license for at least 24 months prior to hiring a van with Underground Cinema and must present themselves with their full-unendorsed driver's license at the pick up location at the time of rental.

Age Requirements & Restrictions*

The minimum age to rent a van is 25. Drivers must have held their fully, unendorsed license for at least 2 months prior to the date of pickup. The maximum age for renting a commercial vehicle on our insurance is 70.

Additional named drivers*

Additional drivers can be added locally for an additional charge of €10 per day per driver. Drivers must be at least 24 years of age and have held a full drivers license for at least 24 months prior to hiring a van. The maximum age to be a named driver on a commercial vehicle is 70.

Methods of Payment
For reservations made via the internet Underground Cinema accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club credit cards. Unfortunately Underground Cinema are unable to process payment on Debit Cards for internet bookings. When clients arrive to pick up the vehicle they must be in possession of and present to Underground Cinema a major credit card held in the main drivers name. This credit card must have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the vehicle.  Underground Cinema also accepts cash as a method of payment.

Speeding - Parking and other Endorsements/ Fines are the responsibility of the hirer in full. Underground Cinema  accepts no responsibility for any fine or payment. The renter is obliged to inform Underground Cinema of any fines or parking tickets issued whilst the renter is using the vehicle.

Baby Seats - Child Seats
Please note babyseats are not permitted in commercial vehicles

Grace Period
Please note there is no grace period on commercial vehicle rentals. Additional charges are incurred once the rental extends its original return date/time.

* Please note that at all times the final discretion rests with the Underground Cinema agent as to whether a booking is completed. In the highly unlikely event that the Underground Cinema agent is not completely satisfied with a drivers credentials/qualifications we reserve the right to refuse to release a rental van.

Toll Fees

Our rental van is fitted with a Eazy Trip tag which will see you through all national toll roads in Ireland. Please note that there is a barrier-free tolling system in operation on the M50.  The toll plaza is situated between junction 6 and junction 7.  As the renter of the vehicle, you are responsible for payment of these tolls.  Payment for tolls must be made when returning the van.
