About Me
I started in the film industry in 2009. I am a true believer in positive thinking and the law of attraction. I started as and actor and then went on to do a film making course in the Irish Film Acadey where I wrote and directed my own film. I loved directing and working with the camera. Courses where too expensive so I formed the SHOOT AUDITION screen actors, ten friends would meet once a week in my house. The group was put together so that we could keep sharp in our skills. More and more people wanted to join so I now rent out the lab. There are now 30 members in the group. The workshops cost €5 euro each and there run every Monday and Friday in the Lab on Foley St. I team the actors up and they do cold reads. The scenes that work for the actors I then film them. I set up a studio in Pearse St and I launched SHOOTAUDITION to help me fund the equipment I need for a production company. SHOOTAUDITION is a company that films actor’s auditions/monologues. For €35 you can have a video audition filmed on a HD camera and in front of our green screen. Monologues cost €50 and €70 if you would like any back round. and films.
